Karla is a Creative Strategist, Cultural Programmer and Brand Consultant

Karla was part of the founding editorial team at NOWNESS.com and previously Digital Editor at Topshop in London.

In 2016 Karla moved to New York and spent three years leading the digital strategy for Topshop and Topman’s North American market focused on content, e-commerce and partnerships.

In 2019 Karla moved into hospitality, returning to London as the Director of Marketing and Culture at The Standard, London leading brand communications, marketing, partnerships and programming. In the 2020 lockdown she co-founded Sometimes Radio.

In 2023 Karla became Vice President of Brand Marketing for the Standard International Management Group, once again based in New York, and overseeing the global brand message, creative identity and marketing strategy.
